Sweet Pecan and Crumb Nuggets

Prepare the Nuggets

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Easy Baking Parchment Paper.

  2. In the bowl of a food processor, pulse pecans one to two times. Mixture should be crumb-like, with some larger pieces of nuts.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sugar. In a second small bowl, combine pecans and crumbs.

  4. Add chicken to mayonnaise mixture and mix until nuggets are coated. Working with a few nuggets at a time, dredge them in the pecan-crumb mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes on each side.

Prepare the Dip

  1. Heat oil in a sauté pan over low heat. Add onion and sauté until golden and caramelized, about 20 minutes.

  2. In the jar of a food processor, combine onion, mayonnaise, and salt. Blend to combine. Serve alongside nuggets.
