Diets An Israeli-style salad that includes bulgur. Get creative with add-ins (think pomegranate). This recipe includes feta cheese and walnuts – scrumptious!
1/2 cup bulgur
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup soaked bulgur
2 cups romaine lettuce
1 ounce fresh parsley leaves, cleaned and chopped
1 kirby, peeled and diced
1 small plum tomato, diced
2 and 1/2 small red onion, diced
1/2 cup Ta’amti Feta Cheese, cubed
handful of walnuts, shelled
handful of pomegranate seeds
3 tablespoons Gefen Olive Oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
In a small bowl, add bulgur, then pour water over it. Let it sit for 30 minutes or until water is absorbed.
In a large bowl, mix all salad ingredients and enjoy fresh.
