This recipe will show you how easy it is to achieve good flavor on a grilled steak.
2 rib-eye steaks
Herzog Special Reserve Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon
Preheat your charcoal or gas grill to a medium fire. Bring your steaks to room temperature. Coat each steak with the Tierra Sur Meat Rub.
Place steaks on the grill. Flip the steaks every few minutes so that they cook evenly. Grill the steaks until an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest part of the steak registers 125 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit for rare, about 8 minutes (or 130 to 135 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, about 10 minutes; or 135 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, about 12 minutes).
Once off the grill, tent the meat with foil and rest for five minutes, then enjoy.
