1 package NY Pasta Authority Tomato Tortellini
2 pounds ground beef
2 large onions, diced
1 jar Gefen Pasta Sauce
1-2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon oil
Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add diced onions, stirring frequently until becoming slightly translucent. Add kosher salt to taste and stir.
While onions are sauteeing, bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain when done and set aside.
Once onions are sweating, add ground beef to the pan a little at a time, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Allow the meat to begin to brown before adding more. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring to make sure the meat browns on all sides.
Once meat is cooked, add pasta sauce to the meat mixture and stir to combine.
Add drained tortellini and stir to combine. Let come to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes to reduce down. Serve and enjoy!
