These easy, low-carb burgers are a balanced blend of turkey deli, ground beef, and interesting spices. Bake them for just a few minutes, and supper will be ready in under half an hour. Use gluten-free buns or your favorite bun alternative to cut out the gluten completely.
1 pound ground beef
1 pound Tirat Zvi Smoked Turkey Breast, finely shredded in a food processor
2 teaspoons cumin
1 onion, sautéed
1 teaspoon salt
a handful of finely chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon Cajun powder
1 package burger buns
4 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons mustard
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Form mixture into patties.
Place burgers on a flat cooking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Be careful not to overcook your burgers, otherwise they will be hard and dry.
Mix the honey and mustard in a small bowl and smear onto each bun.
Place burger in bun and enjoy!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
