1 cup slivered almonds
7 tablespoons sesame seeds
3–4 scallions
1 small purple onion
2 bags shredded purple cabbage
1 bag shredded green cabbage
8 tablespoons Gefen Mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
dash of black pepper
dash of salt
6 tablespoons Bartenura Olive Oil
4 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Toast almonds and sesame seeds for 15 to 20 minutes in 350 degrees Fahrenheit oven, stirring occasionally; set aside.
Slice onions and scallions into thin rings. Combine with rest of salad ingredients.
Prepare dressing of choice and pour over salad. Add nuts before serving.
