A warm and unique sauce to serve over ice cream.
2 pounds Gefen Chestnuts
2 cups water
4 cups sugar
5 tablespoons Gefen Vanilla Extract
juice and rind of 2 lemons
In a large saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Cool and blend. Serve warm over ice cream or cheese cake.
