Diets This sweet lukshen kugel is a classic that will always enhance your Yom Tov or Shabbat meal. Lukshen kugel is a staple in most homes, and this relatively simple recipe is really a winner!
1 (12-ounce) package Manischewitz Thin Noodles
1 (12-ounce) package Manischewitz Wide Noodles
10 eggs
1 cup nuts, ground
1 cup oil
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup Manischewitz Matzo Meal
1 cup raisins
6 tablespoons lemon juice
Cook noodles in boiling, salted water for 10 minutes only. Drain.
Beat eggs and sugar with fork. Add rest of ingredients and noodles.
Turn into greased or lined 11 x 16 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake an additional 35 minutes or until golden.
