Named after a voting district in Boston famous for its political corruption, the Ward Eight is a somewhat forgotten classic cocktail that shows how well rye whiskey can pair with orange juice.

Directions

Prepare the Ward Eight

1. Add all the drink ingredients to a cocktail shaker with a scoop of cubed ice and shake hard. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
2. Garnish with an orange wedge and a cherry.
