Delicious, classic dessert with yummy baked apples under a quick three-ingredient crumb topping.
1 cup flour
1/2 cup (packed) dark brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine (or canola oil)
3 pounds MacIntosh apples, peeled and sliced (about 10 apples)
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup Golden Vanilla Cane Sugar by Bakto Flavors
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix topping ingredients in a bowl until crumbly.
Combine filling ingredients in a 9- x 13-inch aluminum pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake for one hour or until apples are bubbling.

I use margerine for the crumble it’s really good. I substitute the vanilla bean sugar for vanilla sugar about 2 Tbsp. Also, I use about 8 cortland apples. It’s really delicious.
Not sure why there was flour in the filling. And I did oil in the dough as the recipe gave the option but it came into a batter not crumble…
