Everyone can make a decent deli roll, but this recipe takes it up a notch with Chef Yanky’s homemade honey mustard. Follow the directions when layering the meats so you get that nice color combo in the finished slices.
1 cup Gefen Honey
3/4 cup Haddar Deli Mustard
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup Gefen Duck Sauce, plus more to brush the roll
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 sheet Gefen Puff Pastry
8 slices navel pastrami
8 slices turkey roll
8 slices beef salami
black and white sesame seeds, such as Pereg
panko crumbs
parsley flakes
everything bagel seasoning
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper and set aside.
In a bowl, combine honey, mustard, sugar, 1/4 cup duck sauce, mayonnaise, and soy sauce.
Roll out the puff pastry and spread with 3/4 cup of the honey mustard mixture.
Layer the pastrami, turkey, and salami over the honey mustard.
Roll up jelly-roll style and transfer to the baking sheet.
Brush with duck sauce. Top with desired toppings, covering the top and sides of the deli roll.
Bake uncovered for one hour and 10 minutes.
