You can add it to your coffee, smoothies or recipes- just sprinkle a scoop into your drink or the amount a recipe calls for. You can find a great selection of recipes using collagen here https://www.kosher.com/search/?q=collagen&op=recipes.

Thanks for this informative video!
Just wondering – why does the body stop producing it at 25? And why do we think we need it more than Hashem wants us to have it?
Also, what are the benefits of using it? Do you actually feel it helping your joints, skin etc?

Thank you! I love rorie’s content!

These are all super important Qs! I am glad you reached out with these points, and I inquired with Aliza to get more info.

The cellular mechanism in the body naturally slows down after a certain age. As with any supplement or treatment, it’s up to you to decide if/how much hishtadlus you want to do to strengthen yourself. These days we have a plethora of information, tools, and kosher options so we are able to do so if we wish!

Collagen benefits all connective tissue:
Skin texture/elasticity
Hair and nail strength/growth
Gut health
Immunity
Joint and muscle repair
etc.

Everyone notices results differently, and yes you may feel improvements in your joints!

I hope this is helpful. Let us know if you have any more questions!

Hi Charny,
Collagen is a supplement with no negative side effects! I would definitely discuss it with your healthcare provider, though, in case there are any contraindications.

Hi Chaya, Yes, there are physicians that recommend this supplement. Make sure to discuss it with your doctor just to make sure there are no contraindications (for ex. medications) for you particularly. -Chana Tzirel from Kosher.com
