Most of us haven’t traveled very far in the past year, and one place a lot of you probably miss is Israel. So what better way to celebrate Yom Haatzmaut than by imagining a trip to the Holy Land and enjoying foods from the Shuk.

As all you foodies know, the Shuk is a feast for the senses: from fresh pomegranate juice and aromatic zaatar, to hot, flaky potato bourekas and sweet decadent baklava.

We may not be able to visit Israel any time soon, but that won’t stop us from enjoying the special flavors it offers right here at home.

Enjoy!
