While they’re obviously quite different holidays, for many people both Thanksgiving and Chanukah really have one theme- getting everyone together under one roof. When occasions like this help you keep up a relationship with a second cousin three times removed, then you know it’s all worth the effort.

Although you can serve take-out at your meal, there’s nothing like a good home-cooked meal to impress your guests and create a warm feeling among all the participants.

If you are hosting a Thanksgiving party, I am sure you have already scoured the site to find our best Thanksgiving recipes. (For those of you who are curious- read “Is Thanksgiving Kosher?” by Rabbi Abramowitz of OU Kosher.)

And if you’re not, then join us and ready, set, go, for everything Chanukah!

Happy cooking!
