Can you believe you’re only five minutes away from one of America’s favorite desserts in its most luxurious form? Imagine this: warm, sweet apple pie, beautifully contrasted with cold ice cream and laced with salty caramel sauce. Okay, now stop imagining, and go make it; the crowds are waiting!
vanilla caramel ice cream (parve if desired; I used Abe’s Parvelicious brand)
2 cans Gefen Apple Pie Filling
1 Glicks Graham Cracker Crust (gluten-free if desired)
Heat apple pie filling in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally for about five to seven minutes, allowing the filling to become warm and slightly thickened.
While the apple pie filling is heating, place graham cracker crust in a resealable plastic bag and crumble to desired topping size.
Scoop desired amount of ice cream into serving bowls.
Divide warmed pie filling among the serving bowls, pouring it on top of the ice cream, and top generously with crushed graham cracker crust. Bon appetit!
