Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these avocado fries are a delight. They make a great side dish, but are even better served as a snack with some tomato salsa on the side.
1 avocado, skin and pit removed, and each half sliced lengthways
freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the air-fryer to 200 degrees Celsius/400 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a bowl combine the flour and chilli/chili powder, then season with salt and pepper. Place the beaten egg in a second bowl and the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
Dip each avocado slice in the seasoned flour (shaking off any excess), then the egg and finally the breadcrumbs.
Add the breaded avocado slices to the preheated air-fryer and air-fry for six minutes, turning after four minutes. Serve immediately.
