about 5 Macintosh apples
about 5 Bartlett pears
1 bag frozen sliced peaches
1 bag frozen pitted cherries
fresh, cleaned strawberries, halved or quartered
about 5 black plums (when available)
cinnamon
Peel and cut up apples and pears.
Mix all fruit with cinnamon and put into a nine- x 13-inch pan.
Cover tightly and bake for three hours at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Serve cold and enjoy!

Could this be frozen
Fruit compote can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge overnight before using.
