The surprise is in the almonds; the taste is in the zesty dressing.

Ingredients

Salad

  • 1 bag romaine lettuce

  • 1/2 box cherry tomatoes

  • handful of candied almonds

Dressing

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions

Prepare the Salad

1.

Combine all dressing ingredients.

2.

Pour over lettuce, tomatoes, and almonds immediately before serving. Reserve any extra dressing for future use.
