Something a little different and it’s easy as … well, you know! In the mood for other fruity desserts? Try these– Fruity Cake with Crumbly Topping, Apricot Amaretto Cheesecake
1 stick margarine, softened
1 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup Glicks Flour
2 eggs
pinch of salt
8 apricots (fresh or canned, such as Gefen), drained and patted dry
cinnamon and sugar to sprinkle
Mix all crust ingredients by hand. Pour batter into a 9-inch round baking pan or Pyrex dish.
Cut apricots in half and remove pits. Place in pan skin-side up, as close as possible. Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon, and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour or until golden.

Hi,
How can we achieve the effect like the picture with some of the crust on top of the fruit? Any tips?
If you follow the directions of the cake, you should be able to achieve the same look.
