I came up with this recipe one day when I was trying to combine ingredients I really like into something delicious and not too difficult.
1 package Gefen Spring Roll Wrappers, defrosted
3 ripe avocados, mashed until smooth
2 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/4 cup French-fried onions
1/2 cup thinly sliced and diced pastrami
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
oil, for frying
In a small bowl, combine all filling ingredients.
Place one tablespoon filling inside each wrapper in a long line and roll up cigar-style.
In a frying pan, heat oil about one inch deep and fry spring rolls on both sides until golden.
Drizzle with spicy mayo before serving.

can these be baked instead of fried?
Yes! When I bake spring rolls I paint each wrapper on both sides with some oil and then fill and bake at around 375F and check them until their crispy (usually 15 min)
Hi! Is this freezable?
Yes, you can either freeze them raw and then fry them or freeze them cooked and then reheat in a 350F degree oven to crisp them up again.
