Delicious brisket recipe! We had to make three adjustments, but I still credit this recipe developer for a delicious contribution to our meal. We had to use jarred bbq sauce because we are traveling and that’s what we could realistically get ahold of. We didn’t have beer either! We used a little wine. It smelled amazing and tasted great! We also had to use a slow cooker, as we weren’t equipped with an oven!
Its definitely a winner!
Beer? Hi what is the best type of beer to use.
Thank you
Any beer will do. Depends on your preference.
Do ahead? A few questions:
1. How far ahead can this be made?
2. What is the best way to keep it in the freezer until ready to be used?
At least a week! Freeze and defrost.
can i just use bbq sauce instead of making it?
Hi,
Do I bake it for 4 hours if I’m using 2nd cut brisket as well?
yes
Whatcha I substitute for Worcestershire?
You can get fish-free Worcestershire sauce or you can use soy sauce.
OMG!!! Best meat we ever had!!! The whole family loved it. (Made it with #3 meat in Israel.)
Delicious Good recipe but I’ve had better. Made it as written. Used Heinz chili sauce.
