Diets A tried-and-true basic chicken preparation that won’t disappoint.
1 stalk celery
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 and 1/2 – 3 whole or quartered chickens
Process all ingredients.
Baste chickens.
Bake for three hours at 400 degrees in covered baking pan.
When done, turn temperature to low and keep in oven. Serve warm.
