Basting for Chicken

Ingredients

For the Basting

  • 1 stalk celery

  • 1 large onion

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Chicken

  • 2 and 1/2 – 3 whole or quartered chickens

Directions

For the Chicken

1.

Process all ingredients.

2.

Baste chickens.

3.

Bake for three hours at 400 degrees in covered baking pan.

4.

When done, turn temperature to low and keep in oven. Serve warm.
