Beets in Orange Sauce

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons margarine (use soy-free, if needed)

  • 2 tablespoons Gefen Cornstarch, dissolved in 3/4 cup water

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons grated orange rind

  • 3/4 cup orange juice

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans Gefen Beets, drained

Directions

Cook the Beets

1.

Melt margarine, stir in cornstarch.

2.

Add orange rind, orange juice, salt and sugar.

3.

Cook until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.

4.

Add beets and cook until glazed.
