Diets These cookies are definitely an indulgence, but nothing can compare to baking with real butter.
1/2 pound butter
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 egg yolk
2 and 1/2 cups flour
pecan halves (optional)
Cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add yolk, beating well. Add flour and mix until blended.
Chill dough for two hours.
Shape into one-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Gently press a pecan half into each cookie, if desired. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.
