I saw a salad by a Simcha that didn’t look appetizing, so when I went home I put together my own version with a big twist. Needless to say, this is an easy winner.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 bag green shredded cabbage

  • 1 bag purple shredded cabbage

  • 1 bunch scallions, chopped

  • 1 red /orange/ yellow pepper , sliced very thin then in half

  • 1/4-1/2 cup sesame seeds

  • About 2-3 TBS Oil

  • Salt

  • Pepper

Directions

Prepare the Salad

1.

Mix all veggies together.

2.

Add the sesame seeds, salt and pepper (to taste) together over the vegetables right before serving. Then add in some oil. Best if eaten right away.

Notes:

If you’d like to make for next day/later, add the salt and oil before serving.
