This creamy, spreadable frosting pairs well with a simple chocolate cake, a fluffy angel food cake, or any cake of your choice. This sweet frosting complements any cake, and is gorgeous in color as well!

Start Cooking

Prepare the Caramel Frosting

  1. Dissolve first three ingredients over low heat.

  2. Cream egg yolks, sugar, and margarine in mixer.

  3. Slowly add hot mixture and beat until smooth.
