Diets This comforting old-fashioned caraway soup will warm you right up this winter. Ready in minutes, caraway soup is high in fiber and contains an array of vitamins and minerals like magnesium and vitamin B.
3 tablespoons caraway seeds
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon flour
2 cups cold water
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a three-quart pot, toast caraway seeds in oil for one to two minutes on low heat. Add flour and brown an additional two minutes. Add water and salt. Mix well until no lumps are seen. Cook seven to eight minutes.
Strain soup. Add cooked nokerlach, or garlic.
