Prepare the Chicken

Combine chicken, cornstarch, salt, and pepper in a resealable plastic bag. Shake until chicken is coated.

Heat oil in a shallow pot. Add chicken and cook for three minutes on each side. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, broccoli, onions, and sugar.

Cook over low heat for 15 minutes, or until onions and broccoli are soft.

I use this recipe very often! I semi fry the chicken first, then remove from pan, I then fry the onions in the remaining oil add the broccoli and sauce ingredients and lastly I add the chicken. This ensures the chicken doesn't dry out and stays moist. I also add cooked rice right at the end, so it's a one-pot dinner! -

Chicken & Broccoli
I made this last week, and wasn't too happy with the results. Too little sauce for cooking.. I added more soy sauce and oil to avoid drying out my chicken and it was too spicy. Is it missing something? -
