I made this for supper tonight. Since I saw people said there wasn’t enough sauce, I doubled just the soy sauce and sugar. (1/2 c soy sauce and 4 tsp sugar)
It came out delicious!!
soy sauce sub is there anything i can substitute for the soy sauce?
Coconut aminos? Great substitute!
meat? can i use meat instead of chicken for this?
Depends which cut. Each meat is a diff cook time.
the hit of my yom tov table!! Absolutely delicious! Everyone had seconds!!
chicken broccoli I use this recipe very often! I semi fry the chicken first, then remove from pan, I then fry the onions in the remaining oil add the broccoli and sauce ingredients and lastly I add the chicken. This ensures the chicken doesn’t dry out and stays moist. I also add cooked rice right at the end, so it’s a one-pot dinner!
We love hearing your tips! We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying this recipe!
Yummy, easy quick supper, served it w rice. I used frozen broccoli, so i cooked the broccoli separately and then mixed together.
Smart idea. Sometimes I leave the frozen broccoli in the fridge so that it doesn’t take up precious cooking time.
Delicious! Family loved this dish!
Thanks for the feedback!
Reall Good! I made this recipe and it came out amazing, would do more sauce though.. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for that feedback Toby. You gave me a great idea for supper.
Chicken & Broccoli I made this last week, and wasn’t too happy with the results. Too little sauce for cooking.. I added more soy sauce and oil to avoid drying out my chicken and it was too spicy. Is it missing something?
Immediately after you posted your feedback someone else posted how great theirs came out. Although they did agree that there could have been more sauce.
The soy and oil shouldn’t have added any real spiciness to the recipe. If it’s too spicy, perhaps leave out some pepper?
I am happy that someone had better results than me. It was defiantly the soy sauce.
