A delicious and easy Chinese fakeout-takeout dinner that only dirties one pan!
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
2 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken breasts
2 tablespoons oil
1 (15-ounce) can stir-fry vegetables
1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 (15-ounce) can baby corn
1/2 a 16-ounce bag frozen stir fry vegetables
Glicks Chow Mein Noodles, for sprinkling
1/3 cup Glicks Soy Sauce
1/3 cup Gefen Light Corn Syrup
2 teaspoons onion soup mix
2 teaspoons Gefen Cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Combine all ingredients for sauce and set aside.
Slice onion and crush garlic. Combine and sauté in oil until translucent.
Cut chicken breasts into strips and add to onions and garlic. Sauté over medium heat for seven to 10 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink.
Add all vegetables and sauce to pan. Bring to a rolling boil, then lower heat and cook, covered, for another 35 minutes.
Serve over a bed of low mein noodles and top with chow mein noodles.
