For Frying

Start Cooking

Prepare the Fruit

  1. Cut bananas into quarters. Remove leaves from strawberries. Cut pineapple and all other fruits into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Melt chocolate in microwave and transfer to a small, deep bowl.

  3. Skewer fruits and dip each one into melted chocolate. Place on a tray lined with baking paper.

  4. Freeze for half an hour.

Prepare the Batter

  1. Beat eggs, milk, oil, sugar, and salt well.

  2. Add flour, baking powder, and cinnamon and beat until batter is relatively thick.

Fry

  1. Heat oil in a deep pot. Check heat by dipping in a skewer. If large bubbles form on the skewer, oil is hot.

  2. Dip chocolate-covered fruits into batter and immediately put into hot oil for 20-40 seconds, depending on heat of the oil.

  3. Fry each fruit individually, and try to work quickly and in a cold room, so chocolate doesn't melt.

  4. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and serve immediately.
