Diets A cake that’s easy, made all in one bowl, and with a crumbly sugary topping? Tell me more! The crumbs paired with a thin layer of dense vanilla cake is the perfect combination. Enjoy this cake with a glass of iced coffee; I doubt there’s anything that can top that.
3 and 1/4 cups Glicks Flour, divided
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
1/4 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 (8-ounce) container defrosted whipped topping
2 teaspoons baking powder
dash of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix three cups flour, sugar, oil, margarine, brown sugar, and vanilla by hand or with a mixer until smooth. Reserve one and a half cups of the mixture and set aside.
Add remaining 1/4 cup flour, eggs, whipped topping, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined. Pour onto cookie sheet and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture and mini chocolate chips. Bake for 45 minutes.
Once cool, cut into squares.

Could you replace the whip topping with parve milk?
Hi Tzippy,
It’s better not to substitute. I hope this is helpful!

What size pan is this baked in?
I made it in a 12×16 sheet pan (lined with parchment for super easy cleanup) and baked it for only 25 min and it came out moist and delicious!
