1 (12-ounce) package Manischewitz Fine Noodles or other thin noodles, cooked and drained
6 egg yolks, whites reserved for topping
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups Gefen Ground Walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine noodles, egg yolks, vanilla sugar, sugar and oil.
Pour mixture into greased 9- x 13-inch baking pan and bake for 45 minutes.
Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually adding sugar and walnuts.
Remove baking pan from oven. Spread a thin layer of apricot jam over the top.
Pour nut mixture over kugel. Return to oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
