French-Fried Potato Kugel

Main ingredients

  • oil or chicken fat for frying

  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into strips

  • 6 eggs, beaten

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Make the Kugel

1.

Fry potatoes in oil until golden. Drain.

2.

Combine eggs, salt and potatoes.

3.

Heat two tablespoons oil or fat in a 10-inch frying pan.

4.

Pour potato mixture into pan and fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.

5.

Cut into wedges and serve hot.
