French Toast Sticks

This is a new spin on an oldie-but-goodie recipe. Fun to make and fun to eat!  

Yield: 10 sticks

Directions

1. Slice challah into thick slices. Cut off the crust and slice into sticks.
2. In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, one tablespoon oil, and vanilla.
3. Dip the sticks into the mixture.
4. Fry in oil on both sides.
5. Place sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll French toast sticks in sugar-cinnamon mixture while hot.
