Diets This is a new spin on an oldie-but-goodie recipe. Fun to make and fun to eat! Yield: 10 sticks
1 medium challah
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon oil, plus additional for frying
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
Slice challah into thick slices. Cut off the crust and slice into sticks.
In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, one tablespoon oil, and vanilla.
Dip the sticks into the mixture.
Fry in oil on both sides.
Place sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll French toast sticks in sugar-cinnamon mixture while hot.

yummm! they look so good! and its a great way to use leftover challah from shabbos but are they healthy for a breakfast…?
