Make the Salad

  1. Arrange lettuce, avocado, fruit, and nuts in a large salad bowl. Combine dressing ingredients and pour over salad immediately before serving.

Make Your Own Candied Almonds (Optional)

  1. Place half a cup of sugar and three and a half ounces (100 grams) of almonds in a large, dry frying pan over medium heat. Do not spray the pan with cooking spray! Stir constantly until the sugar is caramelized and almonds are evenly coated, about six minutes. Transfer to parchment paper and allow to cool.
