This healthy granola is a family favorite. When made into bars, it makes a great grab-and-go breakfast option or an awesome after-school snack. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, divided (see note)
3 tablespoons water
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup Gefen Almond Flour
1/4 cup avocado oil
3/4 cup Gefen Honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
pinch of salt
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
Line a cookie sheet (or a 9×13-inch pan, for bars) with Gefen Parchment Paper.
In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed with water, mix, and let sit. This is your flax egg.
In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add the flax egg.
Press mixture into pan.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
For granola, break up into small pieces. For bars, let it sit for five minutes before slicing.
