This cake has just the right balance—not too fluffy, not too dense. Yield: 3 loaf pans
2 sticks margarine, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 teaspoons Haddar Baking Powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups Mishpacha Flour
2 tablespoons coffee dissolved in 3/4 cup hot water
1 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat margarine and sugar. Stir in the eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add to mixer, alternating with coffee. Mix until well combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Pour into three greased or lined loaf pans and bake for 45 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

new format for recipes on the site–the directions are put way down after the ingredients and in the directions, there is way too much space between steps. This creates a 2 document recipe when printed. I liked the old format of one page for the recipes
We are fixing the print option on the site!
Hi….can oil be used instead of margarine? Thx
I’ve never tried it so I’m not sure if it would come out the same.
