2 tablespoons oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 tablespoons baharat spice blend or Pereg Shawarma Spice blend
2 cups Sabra Hummus
2 tablespoons washed and chopped fresh parsley
hard-boiled eggs (optional)
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant, three to five minutes. Add ground beef and baharat, breaking beef up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through.
Spoon hummus on a plate. Top with meat, parsley and halved hard-boiled eggs, if desired.
