Instant “Spanish” Rice

Ingredients

Spanish Rice

  • 3 and 1/4 cups water

  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

  • 1 and 1/2 cups raw white or brown rice

Directions

For the Rice

1.

Place rice and water in a medium-sized pot; bring to a boil. Add salt and lower heat. Cover pot and cook 20 minutes for white rice and 30 minutes for brown rice, or until water is absorbed.

2.

Stir in remaining sauce from Red Zesty Chicken and serve alongside chicken.
