When my sister-in-law was newly married, she prepared a London broil and asked my brother-in-law to grill it. When he saw her slicing it for a salad, he joked that she was turning his precious meat into rabbit food. But once he tasted it, he realized it was worth it!
1 and 1/2 pounds London broil
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons coarse ground Gefen Pepper
1 bag lettuce
1 cup chopped cherry tomatoes
1 cup shredded red cabbage
2 scallions (if you don’t eat these you can skip or use red onion)
3/4 cup Gefen Mayonnaise
2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons Gefen Honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup Tuscanini Balsamic Vinegar
Rub London broil well with salt and pepper. Pan-fry on medium-high heat for about five minutes per side. Set aside to cool.
Place dressing ingredients in a jar and shake well. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Slice the London broil. Place vegetables in a bowl and add sliced London broil. Combine dressing ingredients and drizzle over the salad.
