I’d like to introduce Cocktail Franks’ more sophisticated cousin, Meatball Bites!

Holiday season is upon us, which means tons of hosting, & tons of food! I’ve learned over time that even with cooking, less is more! I find that when I go with a more “basic” recipe, it is always foolproof. I always make sure to have some sort of light appetizer for guests to munch on before a meal — that way we keep the “HANGRY” at bay. These meatball bites are the perfect recipe to have on hand, and the best part is kids love it too!

You can place a few meatball bites on skewers like I have in the photos, or even just one on a toothpick! You serve with your favorite dipping sauce (I went for a tomato & garlic confit)! The best part about it is, the ingredients list is so minimal, you’re probably going to skeptical about how good this could taste without using so many ingredients.

Ingredients

Meatball Bites

Directions

Prepare the Meatball Bites

1.

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with seasoning and parsley. Mix in egg.

2.

Roll them into bite-sized meatballs. Place them in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

3.

In the meantime, lay out your puff pastry sheet and cut one-to-two-inch strips. Begin taking your meatballs and wrapping the puff pastry around. Slide them onto skewers. Repeat the process until you used up all of the puff pastry.

4.

Coat with egg wash and sprinkle on everything bagel seasoning. Then, place in the oven to bake for about 25 to 30 minutes.

5.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce!

Tips:

You can prepare ahead and freeze! (Uncooked.)
