Dairy makes everything taste better. The secret dairy ingredient in this easy homemade ice cream is sour cream. Other than that, the recipe has a total of three other ingredients. Just three. And one of them is sort of a repeat. Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar and your almost ready to eat this frozen treat.
10 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar (optional)
1 pound sour cream
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Gradually add half a cup sugar, beating until stiff.
In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks, half a cup sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add sour cream, beating well.
Carefully fold in egg whites.
Freeze.
