Dairy makes everything taste better. The secret dairy ingredient in this easy homemade ice cream is sour cream. Other than that, the recipe has a total of three other ingredients. Just three. And one of them is sort of a repeat. Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar and your almost ready to eat this frozen treat.

To Prepare the Ice Cream

  1. Beat egg whites until foamy.

  2. Gradually add half a cup sugar, beating until stiff.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks, half a cup sugar and vanilla sugar.

  4. Add sour cream, beating well.

  5. Carefully fold in egg whites.

  6. Freeze.
