1 onion, sautèed
4 teaspoons butter
2 potatoes, cubed
2 celery stalks, diced
3 carrots, diced
1/8 pound green beans, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
1/4 pound green peas
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Sautè onions in butter until lightly golden. Add potatoes, celery, carrots, and green beans. Sautè for 15-20 minutes unil limp.
Add water to cover, cook for 40 minutes.
Add peas, mushrooms, and spices. Cook for 10 additional minutes.
