Mozzarella Stick Salad with Sautéed Teriyaki Peppers and Mushrooms

This salad is really pretty served as individual portions or in one big bowl. Feel free to switch up the vegetables for your family favorites.

Directions

Prepare the Mozzarella Stick Salad

1.

Freeze the cheese sticks.

2.

Slice each frozen stick in four. Coat each piece in flour, egg, and panko crumbs. Coat again in egg and crumbs.

3.

In a frying pan over medium heat, fry sticks on both sides until golden. Remove from pan and drain.

4.

Sauté mushrooms and peppers. Add soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar and mix until mixture thickens.

5.

Layer lettuce, vegetables, and mozzarella sticks on a plate. Pour a little bit of sauce on top. Serve warm.
