For the Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. Grease a large baking sheet.

  2. Pour the mustard into a small bowl. In a different shallow bowl, combine the cornflake crumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. Dip each chicken strip into the mustard and then the crumb mixture. Place on baking sheet and bake for 19 minutes at 425° F. Let cool slightly before transferring to a serving plate; otherwise the coating will slip off.

Note:

This recipe works just as well with up to 1½ pounds of chicken. If you’re cooking for a larger crowd, increase the rest of the ingredients to match.

    I would imagine that panko crumbs would be good.
