Diets This kosher-for-Pesach nut torte is quick to make, as well as nutty and super moist. The height on this torte is beautiful, and despite the potato starch, does not taste like a Pesach cake. Perfect to make in a pinch!
9 eggs, separated
1 and 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup Gefen Potato Starch
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup Gefen Ground Walnuts or other ground nuts
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add half of sugar, beating until stiff.
In a separate bowl, beat yolks with rest of sugar, potato starch and lemon juice. Fold whites into yolk mixture.
Add nuts and gently combine.
Pour into tube pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
