This easy brittle technique can use any nut. The best part is, there’s no pot to watch!

Yield: 2 to 2 and 1/2 cups peanuts

  • 2 cups (500 grams) peanuts

Directions

Prepare the Brittle

1.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.

In large sauté pan, warm corn syrup, salt, and sugar. Mix until dissolved.

3.

Add nuts and stir to coat completely. Spread on a baking sheet and bake until toasted and brown, 10 to 12 minutes.

Other nuts? Is it possible to do this with other type of nuts?

I don’t see why not? It would be cool to do a mixture.
