The more flavoring it has, the better it will taste.
cookie cutters
4 cups rice crispies
1 and 1/2 cups peanut butter
melted chocolate
all types of toppings, to decorate
Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. Lightly grease the inside of your cookie cutters so the mixture doesn’t stick.
Place the peanut butter in a medium pot over low heat. Stir gently until smooth and warm.
Remove the pot from the heat and immediately stir in the rice crispies. Mix until the cereal is fully coated.
Press the mixture firmly into the cookie cutters to create thick, even shapes. Use a small spoon or your fingers to compact it well so the shapes hold together.
Lift the cookie cutters away carefully. If the mixture sticks, chill the tray for a few minutes and try again.
Place the peanut chews into the fridge for about 15–20 minutes to firm up. Dip or drizzle melted chocolate over the peanut chews and decorate as desired.
