Use this basic recipe to prepare classic roast potatoes that will fly off the tray. You’ll add this mixed-variety potato bake to your menu plans again and again.
6 medium red potatoes
1 small sweet potato, peeled
3 cloves garlic, minced or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/3 cup oil
3 tablespoons onion soup mix (can use low-fat, non-MSG soup mix)
Wash potatoes well. Cut into medium-sized cubes. Repeat with sweet potato.
Place all potatoes in a 9- x 13-inch pan. Add oil, garlic and soup mix. Mix well.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour and then uncovered for one hour.
